Have you ever wondered what the world would be like especially for the less privileged and poor people, if there wasn’t a ‘Non Profit Industry’ in place? The fact remains that the non – profit industry is a major component in the equation of our world; be it social welfare, health care, education, spiritual, as well as other ramification of life. Our goal is not to be successful in terms of wealth creation, but to be a success when it comes to giving value to the groups of people they direct their services at or to the cause they choose to pursue. In the modern times, the meaning of the word “family” has shrunk down to one’s wife and children only, where parents, grand parents, uncles and aunties, brothers and sisters, cousins and nephews or nieces have no place and thus, sometimes old people may feel neglected. • We at HELPS, are keen to deliver “vaatsalya” to such people who are not getting enough love and affection and who are obstructed from the society on petty grounds. • We at HELPS, are coming up with a project especially for elderly people and for those who don’t have a background. These souls, who are alive on the mercy of some, these ‘some’ may be selfless or selfish. So, we are devoted to pave a way which can be designed, to make these neglected class self – sufficient and self – reliant. With Project Vaatsalya, HELPS is determined to create an surrounding where the neglected people can have a homely environment, affection, love, care, and a sense of security. Both these groups need love, care, affection, support, someone to call their own, someone to share their moments and someone to be there, in times of need. We are devoted towards bringing interaction between these two groups, so that both will benefit. Children will learn a lot from the experience of the old, and old will get time and company from these orphans. They will be provided with basic necessities like: • Food • Shelter • A healthy environment to breathe • Park • Reading rooms • A small dispensary to look after their health requirements, and • A kind and caring staff to look after them properly We aim at creating a place where The old and young will meet each other daily These members of society would be able to walk with self respect, self confidence and lead a life with dignity. We take many good things from society, since our birth, but forget to pay back. If we create an efficient way, through which we benefit more than one group of the society, we may be changing the society for good….and that’s what, HELPS care about the most!
